Softball Game Preview: Wawasee Warriors vs. Northridge Raiders

The Wawasee Warriors will take on the Northridge Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Monday just wasn't the day for Wawasee's offense. They came up short against NorthWood on Monday, falling 10-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Northridge came up short against Concord on Monday and fell 12-8.

Willow Staley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Rielyn Goodwin, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Wawasee, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
