Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sun Valley). They put the hurt on the Central Academy Cougars with a sharp 13-3 win on Wednesday. The Spartans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18, 2024.

Kendall Smith (2026) made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
