Quitman is 9-1 against Northeast Jones since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Quitman Panthers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Northeast Jones Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Northeast Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 34-22 to Mendenhall. While losing is never fun, Northeast Jones can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Mendenhall is ranked 125th).

Quitman's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Northeast Jones, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything came up roses for Quitman against Northeast Jones when the teams last played on January 3rd, as the team secured a 55-26 victory. In that match, Quitman amassed a halftime lead of 31-9, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
