Recap: Roscoe Plowboys vs. Miles Bulldogs
There's no place like home for The Roscoe Plowboys, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They pulled ahead with a 34-33 photo finish over Miles. The victory was just what Roscoe needed coming off of a 44-7 loss in their prior contest.
Hayven Book and Tevin Meade certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Book threw for 211 yards and three touchdowns, while Meade rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Roscoe's victory was their fourth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-2. As for Miles, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Roscoe will head out on the road to face off against Hamlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamlin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Miles, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cross Plains at 7:00 p.m.
