Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Middleton Cardinals.

Appleton West was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Middleton, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Appleton West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Waterford on the 6th. As for Middleton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Indian Trail on the 6th.
