Football Game Preview: Dallastown Wildcats vs. William Penn Bearcats

The Dallastown Wildcats will challenge the William Penn Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dallastown is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Central York on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 63-7. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Christopher Cromartie put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 107 yards on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when William Penn challenged Red Lion last Friday. The Bearcats blew past the Lions, posting a 52-20 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.

Dallastown's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for William Penn, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Dallastown skirted past William Penn 17-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bearcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
