Volleyball Recap: Wallace-Rose Hill Beats East Duplin for Their Third Straight Win

Wallace-Rose Hill entered their tilt with East Duplin on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Wallace-Rose Hill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-22.

Angelina Cavallaro paced Wallace-Rose Hill's offense, picking up 15 kills. Cavallaro got some help from Mattie Gavin and her 22 assists. Finally, Gabby Debnam kept Wallace-Rose Hill's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Wallace-Rose Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Duplin, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Wallace-Rose Hill will head out to challenge Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Duplin, they will be playing at home against North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
