Softball Recap: Walnut Hills Takes a Loss

Walnut Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Anderson Raptors. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raptors earlier this season, when they won 15-5.

Walnut Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Becca Zilliox, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Anderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Walnut Hills will challenge rival Winton Woods at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Anderson is set to square off against their familiar foe Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
