Copley came out on top against Roosevelt on Friday thanks in part to Dane Wininger's efforts. The Rough Riders had no answer to Wininger as he threw for 169 yards and two TDs on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and one score. Wininger's passing game has become a key predictor of Copley's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Wininger and Copley will head out to take on Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians are a perfect 6-0 against the Black Tigers going back to September of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
