Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-3.

Coming up, Roosevelt will be playing at home against North Dallas at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Dallas' defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Roosevelt's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, they will head out on the road to face off against Carter at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carter's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
