Basketball Recap: Metro Academy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nevada, Metro Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Appleton City Bulldogs by a score of 51-44.

Metro Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Appleton City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Metro Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kauffman on January 2, 2026. As for Appleton City, after both having extra time off, they and Lincoln will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
