Baseball Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

King's Academy lost to Menlo-Atherton back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the M-A BEARS.

King's Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Myung, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Menlo-Atherton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Academy will challenge Burlingame at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Panthers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Menlo-Atherton, they will take on Hillsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
