While DC International's win against Sandy Spring Friends wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The DC International Dragons had just enough and edged out the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests 4-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

DC International's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Ferman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Matthew Metcalf was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

The win made it two in a row for DC International and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Sandy Spring Friends, they moved to 3-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, DC International will take on School Without Walls at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sandy Spring Friends, they will challenge Field at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sandy Spring Friends is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2 runs per game this season.
