Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Harrison Central

While Harrison Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-12-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Pascagoula Panthers on Monday. That's more bragging rights for Harrison Central, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Carter Blenden, who's now up to two this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Harrison Central, bringing their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Pascagoula, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Coming up, Harrison Central will face off against Ridgeland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pascagoula, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against George County on the 13th.
