Nazareth Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Marist RedHawks. Nazareth Academy wouldn't have won without Izzy Strnic, who scored the game-winner.

Nazareth Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Marist, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-2.

Coincidentally, Nazareth Academy and Marist will both be playing Carmel the next time they take the pitch. The RedHawks will head out to face the Corsairs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Roadrunners will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
