The activity and suspense from the day has just about wrapped up and Illinois can lay claim to 75 recruits who signed National Letters of Intent. There are also five more who are still committed but have not signed.

Here are some fun facts from what went down on National Signing Day in Illinois:

- The Land of Lincoln's lone 5-star recruit, Edwardsville DE A.J. Epenesa went across the Mississippi River to play for the University of Iowa.
- The University of Illinois landed nine in-state recruits, including 4-star Peoria T Kendrick Green and Brother Rice (Chicago) WR Ricky Smalling.
- Notre Dame got a pair of 4-stars in Saint Viator (Arlington Heights) TE/DE Cole Kmet and Neuqua Valley (Naperville) WR/FS Isaiah Robertson.
- The University of Wyoming got seven recruits from Illinois to come west to Laramie, led by 3-star Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park) WR Jared Scott.
