Volleyball Game Preview: Simeon Wolverines vs. Morgan Park Mustangs

The Simeon Wolverines will head out to square off against the Morgan Park Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Simeon has three straight victories, Morgan Park has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Wednesday, Simeon was able to grind out a solid win over King, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Simeon took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Morgan Park didn't have quite enough to beat Little Village on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Simeon's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Morgan Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Simeon couldn't quite get it done against Morgan Park in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
