Football Recap: Defiance Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Defiance's offense. They were dealt a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Memorial Roughriders on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roughriders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Defiance will be playing in front of their home fans against Van Wert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Memorial, they will head out to face off against Wapakoneta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redskins' defense has only allowed 8.8 points per game this season, so the Roughriders' offense will have their work cut out for them.
