Recap: KIPP Sunnyside vs. Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon Titans
If KIPP Sunnyside were riding high off their 84-55 takedown of the Austin Mustangs last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. KIPP Sunnyside took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points KIPP Sunnyside has scored all season.
Jayvion Mitchell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon, scoring 25 points. Kamorian Cole was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
KIPP Sunnyside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.
