            Softball Recap: King George Foxes vs. Stafford Indians        
        
		
        
        
            King George lost to Stafford  back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The King George Foxes walked away with  a   6-3  victory over the Stafford Indians. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Foxes.
 Kelsea Minter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. What's more,  she gave up only zero  walks, the fewest she's  had since back in April of 2024.
 At the plate,  Kayla Smith was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paige Headley, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 King George  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

King George's win was  their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 2-0.
 Looking ahead, King George will be playing at home against Orange County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Stafford, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Forest Park  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Stafford is coming into the  matchup on  a  four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
