Basketball Recap: Delran Skates Past Riverside with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delran). They blew past the Riverside Rams, posting a 77-29 win. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Rams are ranked 391st), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Delran is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Riverside, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Delran has already played their next contest, a 62-49 victory against Florence Township Memorial on the 23rd. Riverside has also already played their next game (against Willingboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
