Basketball Game Preview: Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars vs. Riverstone International Otters

Gem State Adventist Academy hasn't had much luck against Riverstone International recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars will get right back to it and host the Riverstone International Otters at 7:30 p.m.

Gem State Adventist Academy is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Notus, falling 72-50.

Meanwhile, Riverstone International posted their biggest victory since January 10th on Monday. They blew past Centennial Baptist 64-31. The Otters have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 27 points or more this season.

Riverstone International's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Gem State Adventist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Gem State Adventist Academy was taken down by Riverstone International 60-27 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Thankfully for Gem State Adventist Academy, Jason Koval (who went 10 for 24 en route to 27 points and three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
