Halstead came tearing into Monday's contest with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Caney Valley Bullpups. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Halstead was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-6.

Bailey Bernal paced Halstead's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bernal got some help from Jordy Schroeder and her 21 assists. Katharine Engel controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Halstead's victory bumped their record up to 33-5. As for Caney Valley, they dropped their record down to 21-18 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Halstead nor the Bullpups have any future games scheduled.
