With a playoff game on the line, Salem rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clarksville Generals 67-16. That 51 point margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Logan Dent was his usual excellent self, rushing for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Mull, who threw for 68 yards and three touchdowns.

Salem was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.

Salem wouldn't let Clarksville keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. Braxton Dean led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself.

The victory got Salem back to even at 5-5. As for Clarksville, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Salem will venture away from home to take on Tell City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Salem will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Clarksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
