Bethel Christian suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 63-38 walloping at the hands of Tulelake. Bethel Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bethel Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rad Schenkenberger, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 26 rebounds. Schenkenberger has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cruz Schenkenberger, who scored 13 points.
Bethel Christian dropped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.7 points per game. As for Tulelake, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.
Bethel Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Westwood at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for Tulelake, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hayfork at 6:00 p.m.
