Soccer Recap: Annenberg Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Annenberg challenged Central City Value on Friday. The Panthers fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Annenberg came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Central City Value are ranked 1057th).

Annenberg's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Central City Value, their record now sits at 3-9-3.

Coming up, Annenberg will square off against Downtown Magnets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Central City Value does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
