Softball Recap: Swanton Victorious

Swanton won the last time they faced Hicksville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 12-9 win over the Aces. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Carli LaGrange was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Cara Ludlow also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Swanton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hicksville only managed five hits.

Swanton's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Hicksville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Swanton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against St. Ursula Academy on the 9th. Hicksville has also already played their next game (against Holgate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
