Recap: Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors vs. Ridge Community Bolts
The Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors suffered their biggest loss since December 16, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Ridge Community on the road and fell 75-36. Bayshore Christian just can't catch a break and has now endured five losses in a row.
Bayshore Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jace Jreisat, who scored 15 points. Jreisat hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Tylan Lewis, who scored 11 points.
Ridge Community's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Siled Morris, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Morris scored 15 or more points. Tarique Kennedy was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Bayshore Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Ridge Community, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bayshore Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Ridge Community, they will square off against George Jenkins at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. George Jenkins is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
