Softball Game Preview: Coolidge Yellowjackets vs. Trinidad Trojans

The Coolidge Yellowjackets will challenge the Trinidad Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Coolidge has now lost eight straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 6th.

Coolidge lost 28-10 to Avalon on Tuesday. Even if the Yellowjackets couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Haylie B. made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydence B., who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Trinidad came up short against Cross Roads on Tuesday, falling 17-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coolidge's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
