Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Vikings vs. Madison Bulldogs

Northeast is 0-4 against Madison since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Northeast Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Madison Bulldogs. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Northeast was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Paul, taking the game 56-44.

Meanwhile, Madison got the win against Marmaton Valley on Monday by a conclusive 51-29. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Madison's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Northeast, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Northeast came up short against Madison in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 36-28. Can Northeast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
