Basketball Recap: Gold Beach Takes a Loss

Gold Beach was the 42-41 winner over Illinois Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Gold Beach Panthers took a 49-32 bruising from the Illinois Valley Cougars on Monday.

Gold Beach has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Illinois Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Gold Beach has already played their next contest, a 63-27 loss against Oakland on the 11th. As for Illinois Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-35 defeat against Myrtle Point on the 11th.
