Baseball Recap: Hamilton Falls Short Against Ranked Germantown

Hamilton faced Germantown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Chargers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Warhawks when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Hamilton and nudges their season record down to 18-6. As for Germantown, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coming up, Germantown will be playing at home against New Berlin Eisenhower at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton will be paying especially close attention to the Warhawks' matchup: after the Warhawks face off against the Lions, they'll take on Hamilton again at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
