Volleyball Recap: Jonesport-Beals Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jonesport-Beals can now relate to. They came up short against the Narraguagus Knights on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on October 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-7.

Chandler Khloei paced Jonesport-Beals' offense, picking up three kills. Khloei got some help from Balicki Riley and her two assists. Finally, Riley was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Narraguagus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eileen Berry, who had ten digs and six aces. Berry has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. Ivy Stanwood was another key player, getting 13 assists and six digs.

Jonesport-Beals' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Narraguagus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Jonesport-Beals does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Narraguagus, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against George Stevens Academy on the 1st.
