Basketball Recap: Harrison Extends Winning Streak to 14

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harrison). They blew past the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls 67-26 on Wednesday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Alli Robertson, who went 11 of 15 en route to 26 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The contest was her 31st in a row with at least ten points. Abby Smith was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Mt. Healthy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Harrison Wildcats challenge the Edgewood Cougars at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mt. Healthy, they will be playing at home against Middletown at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
