Softball Recap: Corona Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Corona's offense. They came up short against the King Wolves on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Corona's record is now 11-10. As for King, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10-1 record this season.

Corona didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-2 win against Nogales on the 25th. As for King, they will challenge Norco at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 1.1 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
