Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors vs. Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs

Southwest Virginia Academy hasn't had much luck against Westover Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Conquerors will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Southwest Virginia Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Southwest Virginia Academy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Faith Christian Academy.

One reason for the win was Southwest Virginia Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Westover Christian Academy came up short against Roanoke Valley Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-16.

Westover Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Southwest Virginia Academy couldn't quite get it done against Westover Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Conquerors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
