Baseball Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

After flying high against Weldon Valley last Friday, Prairie came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 14-5 to the Otis Bulldogs on Tuesday. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 17-2 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brennon Bringelson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Prairie now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Otis, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Prairie by a score of 12-0 later that day.
