Football Recap: Corvallis Victorious + How To Watch

Corvallis won the last time they faced Stevensville and Ayden Spencer did his part to make sure it happened again. The Blue Devils really took it to the Yellowjackets for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-12 victory for which the team can thank Spencer, who rushed for 144 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

One reason for the win was Corvallis' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Marshall Jessop, Dakoda Harrison, and Robby Hall, who each picked up one sack apiece. Spencer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Although Stevensville took the loss, they still got scores from David Laufenberg and Luca Schmidt.

Corvallis' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Stevensville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
