After only two runs in their last contest, Apple Valley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Serrano on Tuesday. The Sun Devils blew past the Diamondbacks 12-2. The Sun Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.
Brynne Johnson made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Johnson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Brooke Johnson was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and two runs.
