Baseball Recap: Enterprise Falls Short of St. Patrick in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Enterprise can now relate to. They fell just short of the St. Patrick Fighting Irish by a score of 8-6 on Monday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Brody Smith was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Enterprise's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 5-15 when he doesn't).
