Baseball Recap: Northeast Beats South River for Their Fourth Straight Win

Northeast got themselves on the board against South River on Wednesday, but South River never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Seahawks. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Northeast's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for South River, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northeast is set to take on their familiar foe Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South River will face off against rival Old Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
