Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vinita). They put the hurt on the Jay Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Vinita's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Jay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vinita will host Kansas at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jay, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Quapaw at 5:00 p.m.
