Volleyball Recap: Albemarle Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Albemarle had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the South Davidson Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Wildcats on their court since October 4, 2017.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 26-28, 25-12.

South Davidson is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albemarle will take on Forest Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Davidson, they will challenge Triad Math and Science Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
