Softball Recap: Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles vs. Dunbar Wildcats
Diamond Hill-Jarvis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 20-15 to the Dunbar Wildcats. Diamond Hill-Jarvis was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dunbar apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March.
For Dunbar's part, Ariel Duran was a standout: she went 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Daiyauna Faison, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4.
Diamond Hill-Jarvis' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Dunbar, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
