It's playoff time, and Poteet had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Jefferson Patriots on Thursday as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Poteet is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Coming up, Poteet will challenge Crandall on May 3. Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
