Soccer Recap: Holdrege Takes a Loss

Holdrege's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the North Platte Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. If Holdrege were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to North Platte when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Holdrege's goal came courtesy of Joshua Janssen, who's now up to 11 this season.

Holdrege now has a losing record of 3-4. As for North Platte, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holdrege will welcome York on Tuesday. As for North Platte, they will take on Columbus at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Platte are facing Columbus at the right time seeing as Columbus are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
