Clayton entered their tilt with Corinth Holders on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Corinth Holders Pirates, posting an 84-39 victory. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Corinth Holders had strong showings from Isaiah Neal, who posted six points, and Christopher Hughes, who put up two points. That's the most points Neal has posted since back in December of 2024.

Clayton pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Corinth Holders, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clayton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Willow Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Clayton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Corinth Holders, they and Garner will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Garner knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully Corinth Holders likes a good challenge.
