Boerne-Champion had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the MacArthur Brahmas on Saturday. Considering the Chargers have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Boerne-Champion and bumps their season record up to 27-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

Looking ahead, Boerne-Champion will take on Sharyland on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Chargers 2.6, the Rattlers 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
