If Pisgah was feeling good fresh off their 28-6 takedown of St. Andrew's Episcopal last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons took a 24-6 bruising from the Lake Hornets on Friday. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Pisgah lost, don't look at Tavorian Smith. Despite the final result, he rushed for 80 yards and one TD on only nine carries. An impressive showing, but Smith really ramped things up playing D: he made 16 total tackles and defended two passes. Ryder White helped out on the ground, rushing for 142 yards.

Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lake, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pisgah will welcome Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
