Nazareth Academy owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against the Marian Catholic Spartans by a score of 3-0. While the Roadrunners didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Nazareth Academy's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 8-6. As for Marian Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nazareth Academy will head out to challenge Fenwick at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marian Catholic, they will challenge Bloom at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
